Division 1 Property Projects was established in the Spring of 2022 by the owner, Wes Halonen (9th from the left). I come from a big family of 7 boys and 4 girls. Growing up in a big family is the best thing I could ever ask for; there is always someone to play with and keep me entertained. Being from a big family, we did not get many things handed to us. We were taught to work hard to pay for our own car, gas, hobbies, etc. Deck refinishing has run in the family for about a decade. Brian (5th from the left) was the first to start refinishing decks in the spring of 2015. He refinished decks for a few summers before deciding to get a college education. Bruce (8th from the left) started in the summer of 2019. He is currently attending Michigan Tech University for mechanical engineering during the school year and refinishing decks in the summer. To no surprise, I followed the footsteps of my older brothers. In the spring of 2022, I started refinishing decks. Over the past few years, I have mastered my craft through experience and knowledge from my older siblings. We are committed to providing excellent service and an excellent product to all of our customers!
